1. What is a virtual locker and what is it used for?

It is a physical address in Miami assigned to you so you can receive your purchases and packages. Once your items arrive, F&D registers them, consolidates them if requested, and ships them to Colombia.

2. How much does it cost to open a virtual locker?

There is no initial cost. Opening your virtual locker is completely free. You only pay when you ship packages or use additional services such as extended storage.

3. What address should I use when shopping from U.S. stores?

Use the following format: Your Name + Locker Number (assigned by us), F&D Services and Global Logistics, and the address provided by our team.

4. How do I know when my packages have arrived at the locker?

 

Once we receive your packages, we will send you an email notification with details such as the sender’s name, carrier (UPS, Amazon, FedEx, etc.), and internal tracking number.

5. Can I consolidate multiple packages?

 

Yes. We can combine several packages into one box to help reduce shipping costs to Colombia.

6. How is the shipping cost to Colombia calculated?

The price may be calculated based on:

  • actual weight

  • volumetric weight

  • type of goods

  • destination city

7. What is the delivery time to Colombia?

 

Shipments usually take between 5 and 10 business days, depending on volume, type of goods, and destination city.

8. What happens if my package exceeds $50 USD?

 

Packages with a declared value over $50 USD may require additional customs procedures and may be subject to taxes in Colombia.

9. How do shipping services within the U.S. work?

 

We offer:

  • Envelope pickup

  • Parcel shipping

  • FTL & LTL freight transportation

  • Deliveries within Florida and to any state in the U.S.

Rates are quoted based on destination, weight, and distance.

10. What products can I NOT ship?

 

We do not ship:

  • Flammable materials

  • Firearms or ammunition

  • Regulated medicines or substances

  • Cash

  • Perishable food

  • Unauthorized chemicals

11. Can you open my packages?

 

Yes. With your authorization, we may open them for inspection, consolidation, or item verification.

12. Is F&D responsible for damage caused by the carrier in the U.S.?

 

F&D handles your package from the locker until it is dispatched to Colombia. Any damage caused by USPS, UPS, Amazon, or FedEx must be claimed directly with the carrier, although we can help guide you through the process.
